Marriage & Weddings
Celebrating the Sacrament of Matrimony is an exciting and sacred time in a couple’s life. St. Victoria desires to be a community of faith that assists couples before the wedding day and beyond in building both a loving and lasting relationship. The sacrament of Marriage is celebrated here at St. Victoria after at least 9 months of preparation within our church community. This includes meetings with the Pastor or Deacon, attending a retreat, and also on-going sessions with Mentor Couples. Mentor Couples are married couples who meet with engaged couples and walk with them in their preparation for this lifelong commitment.
As you begin to think about your wedding, please know that we do have some requirements that must be fulfilled. Until these requirements are met, your wedding will be noted on our parish calendar, but your wedding date will be considered tentative.
-To be married at St. Victoria, at least one member of the engaged couple (or a parent or grandparent) must be a member of St. Victoria. If you are not a member, but would like to join St. Victoria, visit our Register with the Parish page. We ask that you make this a priority in your planning process.
-We ask for a $100 deposit prior to scheduling the first meeting with your presider. You may send it to the Parish Office.
